Mark your calendars for the next DFD event on November 15 at Pure Pasty.  These fundraisers, along with the Friends of Flint Hill armchair campaign running through the end of the year, provide important funds for Flint Hill programs that benefit our students.  For more information on these programs, or to make a tax-deductible donation, click here.

A huge thank you to our Flint Hill Family for the fun experience of putting together a float for the Vienna Halloween Parade this week! We were thrilled to incorporate Grace Art and we think the students thoroughly enjoyed the chance to contribute to the project and walk in the parade.

Over the course of three weeks, all 750 Flint Hill Students worked by grade level on “Great Outdoor” themed projects to use on the 2017 FHES Float. We had over 400 handprint leaves, roughly 75 felt vegetables and more than 1000 plastic flowers, all created by the students. In addition, the Environmental Club created a nest for Falco and painted our courtyard bridge.  We had a huge group assemble to walk the night of the parade led by Ms. Hertzberg & Mrs. Hoak, as well as the brains behind the whole operation, Mr. Bechtle. A few shots of the beautiful float are below!

Many thanks to Ms. Fisher, Ms. Kuykendall & Mr. Bechtle for all of their work to bring the float to life!  In addition to our Grace Art Co-Chairs, Megan David & Debbie Gardner!
