Dining for Dollars on Wednesday at Elevation Burger

Our December Dining for Dollars will be at Elevation Burger this coming Wednesday, December 13. Skip the dinner prep and clean up, support the school, and eat some healthy, organic burgers!
Be sure to mention Flint Hill Elementary PTA when you go so we can receive 20% of sales
Elevation Burger is located at 142 Branch Avenue.

Help Us Meet our Fundraising Goal!

So far, we have raised almost $16,000 or 80% of our $20,000 target for our Friends of Flint Hill (FOFH) Fundraiser.  Thank you to the families who have already contributed – your name will be listed on the PTA website and you will be receiving a tax letter in the upcoming weeks.  To reach our goal, we need the support of ALL Flint Hill families.

The money you donate through Friends of Flint Hill helps us to fund important school wide programs such as classroom technology ($14,000), field trips ($8,000), reading resources ($7,400), classroom supplies ($4,700), cultural assemblies ($3,800), Grace Art ($1,800), and the list goes on.  Last year, the PTA spent approximately $100 per student enrolled.

Please support Friends of Flint Hill by making a tax-deductible donation through pay4schoolstuff.com or use the online form and submit a check to the Flint Hill office.  Don’t forget to check with your employer – many will match your gift!

Orders featuring your child’s artwork were delivered to teachers on Friday afternoon and will be going home with your child early next week (some went home on Friday).   If you don’t receive your order by Tuesday, please contact Lindsay Castillo at lindsay.e.castillo@gmail.com.  Checks can still be received in the office for the magnets that were delivered with the order form in early November.  Magnets are $6.  Thank you to everyone who ordered and supported Flint Hill!

Target and Walmart Gift Card Collection for Families in Need

Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated gift cards to our collection.  We are still collecting gift cards to donate to families in need over the holiday season, right in our own community.  If you are able to give, we are looking for Target, and Walmart gift cards in any amount.  Thank you for your help in brightening the holidays for those in need.  All gift cards can be sent to Mrs. Williams attention at school.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at aywilliams1@fcps.edu.
