Flint Hill’s 3rd Green Flag!

Our students have been hard at work the past few years to beautify our school grounds and this year we’ve achieved our 3rd Green Flag from the National Wildlife Foundation’s EcoSchools USA! Flint Hill has become the third school in the nation to receive this honor. To celebrate the hard work of the students and staff, we will be hosting a Garden Showcase on May 30th from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM. This event will have pictures with Farmer Jeff and a chicken, wearable greenhouses, taste of the gardens and so much more! We hope you can join us for this amazing event and help us all celebrate. Please RSVP using this link if you are able to attend: https://goo.gl/forms/I9Xuoy8vTEQVYJpH2

School Supply Kits are NOW available to order on-line until June 24, 2018.

Flint Hill has chosen to use EPI, the largest school pack vendor in the country, for ordering school supplies for the 2018-2019 school year.  You can order online at www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks (our school ID is FLI018).  School supply kits may be purchased thru June 24, 2018.  The supplies will be available for pick up at the Open House in August.  If you are unable to make the Open House, we will leave the supplies in your child’s classroom.  Please feel free to contact Erin Miller at erin@hautepapier.com if you have any questions.

Next Box Top Collection Date is June 1

Keep collecting those Box Tops for Education to earn money for Flint Hill.  So far, this year, Flint Hill has earned $1111!  You can find the small pink Box Tops on hundreds of your favorite items, including General Mills cereals, Nature Valley granola, Annie’s Organic products, Ziploc, Kleenex, Cottonelle, Motts applesauce, Lysol and Hefty (go to www.btfe.com for a full product list).  Please place unexpired Box Tops in a bag or envelope, or glue them to a collection sheet, and deposit in the collection box located in the lobby.  Please note your child’s name, teacher’s name, and the number of Box Tops included.

Volunteers for Committees for 2018-2019 School Year

There are several open PTA committees open for the 2018-2019 school year listed below.  If you have an hour a week, one day a week, or a few days a month to help out, please reach out to Jessica Snow or reply to this email.  Several of these committees may cease exist if we do not have parent volunteers to keep them up and running.
