In the month of November, the featured artist will be Frida Kahlo and the students will be working on self portraits.  Please refer to the sign up below for the class schedule as well as to volunteer HERE.

If you have any questions, please contact Angela Elmore at anghub@gmail.com.

Help Us Meet our Fundraising Goal

Two months into the Friends of Flint Hill (FOFH) armchair fundraising campaign, we are about 2/3 of the way to reaching our fundraising goal of $20,000.  Thank you to these Flint Hill families who have already given generous donations to the 2018-19 campaign!  We need the support of ALL Flint Hill families to raise the $7,000 to reach our goal.

Last year, the PTA spent approximately $100 per student enrolled.  The money you donate through FOFH helps us to fund important school-wide programs such as classroom technology, field trips, reading resources, classroom supplies, Grace Art, and much more.

You can make a tax-deductible donation through MySchoolAnywhere or send a check to the school office to the attention of the PTA.  Don’t forget to check with your employer – many will match your gift!

Questions or need help with a matching gift?  Contact Sarah Speer, VP, Fundraising.

Join the Falcon 5K Sponsorship Committee!
We are looking for people to join the 5K sponsorship committee! It is a fun event that brings the school together and a great fundraiser.  There are co-chairs in place, so any extra help would be useful.  If you would like to help, contact Ellen Mek at  or Brian Merritt at flinthill5K@gmail.com .

Wheels to Africa Bike Drive

Madison High Schools Students for Environmental Action Club will be hosting a bike drive with Wheels to Africa on Saturday, November 3rd from 9am to 12pm, and would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word!

Wheels to Africa is a Northern Virginia-based non-profit that collects and repairs bikes to help those in Africa gain safe access to food, water, healthcare, jobs, and education. However, this year the bikes we collect will be distributed in Puerto Rico to help with hurricane relief, in partnership with the JJ Barea Foundation. Bikes will be accepted in any condition, but financial donations will also be accepted and appreciated.
