Become a Friend of Flint Hill
For the 2018-19 school year, we have raised 68% of our $20,000 goal for the Friends of Flint Hill (FOFH) armchair campaign.  Thank you to these Flint Hill families who have already given generous donations to the 2018-19 campaign!  We need the support of ALL Flint Hill families to raise $6,300 to reach our goal.
Last year, the PTA spent approximately $100 per student enrolled.  The money you donate through FOFH helps us to fund important school-wide programs such as classroom technology, field trips, reading resources, classroom supplies, Grace Art, and much more.

You can make a tax-deductible donation through MySchoolAnywhere or use the form you received in your Tuesday folder and send a check to the school office to the attention of PTA Fundraising.  Don’t forget to check with your employer – many will match your gift!

Questions or need help with a matching gift?  Contact Sarah Speer, VP, Fundraising at FHESFundraising@gmail.com.

Find Great Holiday Gifts with ANY of Your Children’s Artwork on Artsonia
Artsonia is an exciting online digital art gallery that provides parents with access to their student’s artwork throughout the year.  Did you know. . .

  • Parents can order any of their students artwork that is already posted on any of the offered products — Mugs, Ornaments, Sketchbooks, Magnets, Jewelry, and more.
  • Any artwork they make at home can be posted on their profile using any smartphone or tablet. That means little brothers and sisters can participate under the Flint Hill program and you can order products with any artwork you choose!
  • Flint Hill receives a donation of 20% of each order on Artsonia!

For your child to participate in Artsonia, you first need to grant permission for the school to provide your email to Artsonia by using this online form.  After you have granted permission, you will receive an email from Artsonia to activate your child’s account.  Once the account is activated, parents can start viewing artwork as it is posted, share it with family and friends and order products!  For more information on Artsonia, please contact Ms. McAlister at sdmcalister@fcps.edu.

Grace Art UpdateAttention Parents and Grandparents interested in volunteering for the Grace Art projects in January, February, March, and April and have not been invited by signupgenius yet can contact Angela Elmore at anghub@gmail.com so we can get you signed up!  The specific Grace Art dates are on the PTA website!  Thanks for making this program successful!

Holiday Gift Card Collection to Support Flint Hill Families

We will be collecting gift card donations over the next several weeks for our Flint Hill families in need.  If you would like to participate, please send all donations to Mrs. Williams attention.  We are looking for Giant, Safeway, Target, Walmart, and Visa/AMEX gift cards.  All donations will go directly to support families in our Flint Hill community.  Thank you for your generosity and for helping to make someone else’s holiday season brighter!  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Williams at aywilliams1@fcps.edu.
