BRING IN YOUR CHANGE FOR PENNY WARS MAY 28-31!

Save your change for Flint Hill’s first Penny Wars, where grades will compete to earn fun prizes!  Each grade that fills a bucket with change will receive an extra recess.  The grade with the most points at the end of the week wins a popsicle party at their extra recess!

Students can bring in their spare change (U.S. coins only) to the Flint Hill office after they check in with their teacher.

Proceeds from Penny Wars will go towards technology purchases for Flint Hill.

If anyone has an account with Apple Federal Credit Union and is available to help transport change for counting on Wednesday and/or Friday, please contact Sarah Speer at FHESFundraising@gmail.com.   You will help us avoid a 3% processing fee!

Final Box Top Collection!

Our last Box Top collection date is Wednesday, June 5. Please help our school by submitting your Box Tops! Please place unexpired Box Tops in a bag or envelope and deposit in the collection box located in the lobby.  Please note your child’s name, teacher’s name and the number of Box Tops included.

Important Immunization Requirement: Do You Have a Student Entering Sixth Grade Next Year?

If yes, he or she may need a booster dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Sixth grade students cannot begin school in August without documentation of the Tdapbooster. Parents or guardians should ask their private healthcare provider, or the health department, to review their child’s immunization record if they are unsure if their child has received the Tdap booster. Students who have received a Tdap booster between the ages of seven and eleven do not need another dose.

Documentation must be provided to the school Student Information Assistant (SIA), Mrs. Shirley Eason.

Share This Information with a Friend or Neighbor!Kindergarten registration is upon us! We welcome parents of rising kindergarten students to register their child at their earliest convenience. This helps us get acquainted with our new students and allows us to have our numbers so we can best staff our kindergarten classrooms. Please don’t hesitate to share this information with a neighbor, friend, or colleague who lives within our boundaries. We want to ensure we get students registered as early as possible–in addition to registering for our Bridge to Kindergarten program this summer!

For more information on kindergarten registration, please contact our Student Information Assistant, Shirley Eason.
