Box Tops are Still Being Accepted Until MONDAY!
Please place unexpired Box Tops in a bag or envelope and deposit in the collection box located in the lobby.  Please note your child’s name, teacher’s name, and the number of Box Tops included.

Box Tops is Going Digital
This summer, you will begin to see participating products change from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label. With the new label, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt.

The Box Tops for Education Team is building a new and improved user-friendly mobile app that will be ready this summer. The new app will allow you to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school’s earnings online.

We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire so send in your Box Tops by Monday and hold onto any others for next year.  Click HERE for more details.

Penny Wars Results Are In!

All the change has been counted and the results are in.  Altogether, Flint Hill students brought in $2,306.53 in change! After bank fees and expenses, Penny Wars net $2,256.06 to purchase technology for Flint Hill.  Way to go Falcons!

Every grade collected a bucket full of change so they all earned an extra recess!

The contest for the most change collected was very close.  Third grade collected the most change and fourth grade collected the most change per student.  They both earned a popsicle party at their recess!
Change Collected Per Grade:

 K $211.62
1 $362.29
2 $437.58
3 $481.90
4 $444.93
5 $169.52
6 $198.69
Total $2,306.53

Thank you to all the students (and their parents) who contributed change and especially to Gayle Schlueter, Liz Crimmins, Melissa Molivadas, Rebecca Felber, Jess Moore, and the Flint Hill office staff for helping out throughout the week!

Important Immunization Requirement: Do You Have a Student Entering Sixth Grade Next Year?

If yes, he or she may need a booster dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Sixth grade students cannot begin school in August without documentation of the Tdapbooster. Parents or guardians should ask their private healthcare provider, or the health department, to review their child’s immunization record if they are unsure if their child has received the Tdap booster. Students who have received a Tdap booster between the ages of seven and eleven do not need another dose.

Documentation must be provided to the school Student Information Assistant (SIA), Mrs. Shirley Eason.

A Note from Ms. O’Connor in the Health Room

The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the
health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of
school.  Click HERE for details.

Share This Information with a Friend or Neighbor!Kindergarten registration is upon us! We welcome parents of rising kindergarten students to register their child at their earliest convenience. This helps us get acquainted with our new students and allows us to have our numbers so we can best staff our kindergarten classrooms. Please don’t hesitate to share this information with a neighbor, friend, or colleague who lives within our boundaries. We want to ensure we get students registered as early as possible–in addition to registering for our Bridge to Kindergarten program this summer!

For more information on kindergarten registration, please contact our Student Information Assistant, Shirley Eason.
